Millspace Call for Visual Artists, Fall 2024

Artist Opportunities: 

  • #1 Fall Exhibition: loosely themed with our Avenue Q. theater production 

  • #2 Fall Exhibition: Community Wall (no theme).

Quantity of Art:

  • Each artist may submit up to 5 pieces for each opportunity, any size, space permitting.

Art Preparation:

  • Art must be framed or finished canvas edge. Artwork must have a wire secured to the back for hanging. 

  • Each work needs to have a tag securely attached to the back of your artwork with the artist’s name, title  & price of work.  PLEASE NOTE: if the art preparation is not followed, we will be unable to include your artwork in the exhibition.

Required Forms:

  • Fall Exhibition Call for Art Google Form. Please fill out the “Millspace Call for Artists-Fall Exhibition” form by August 9th. Artists will be notified of selected artwork by August 16. 

  • Loan Agreement Form. All of your selected artwork must be listed on the loan agreement form. You can print out and bring the form to the gallery or fill one out when you drop off your artwork.

Submission Fee:

  • To help cover our costs, there is a fee of $15.00 for exhibiting your artwork. This is a single fee.  You do not have to pay for each individual art entry. 

  • Once your artwork has been selected, please send your payment to this link: Millspace Art Submission Fee.

Artwork Drop Off: 

End of Exhibition: Artwork Pick Up: 

  • 10/11/24 or 10/12/24 by appointment. 

  • All artwork must be picked up by 10/12 as the Newmarket Millspace will be unable to store any art. 

Art Opening:

  • TBA - Artists are encouraged to invite friends and family!

  • Please consider bringing a refreshment to share.

Payment from Sales:

  • Sales commission will be based on a 65/35 split (Artist/Gallery).
