This holiday season, The Newmarket Millspace Center for Art, History & Culture is bringing a magical new
tradition to our town, the Festival of Trees. This special event brings our community together to celebrate the
holiday season while raising funds to support the Newmarket Millspace Education Committee's mission to
bring more family friendly events to the community. We are inviting local businesses and organizations to
help make this first-time community event and fundraiser a success.
What is a Festival of Trees?
This event will feature beautifully decorated Christmas Trees and wreaths sponsored and decorated by local businesses, non-prophets, community groups and organizations. Each tree will be uniquely themed and decorated by the sponsor and is often paired with gift certificate(s) or physical items associated with the business.
Visitors purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win the fully decorated trees and wreaths along with the associated prizes. Proceeds from the event support The Education Committee's mission to bring more family friendly events to The Millspace. Here is a chance to celebrate the season and give back to the community!
Invitation to Participate in Our Festival of Trees Fundraiser
We invite you to participate by sponsoring and decorating a tree or wreath (or both) for the Festival of Treeson December 4th. Trees and wreaths will be raffled off to a winner.
Tree and wreath sponsors are in charge of planing and providing their own theme, decorations, and supplies. Sponsors are encouraged to include associated gift cards or physical items associated with the sponsors business or objective(s) to be included with the winning tree.
Each tree will have a placard detailing the sponsors name and information, the trees theme and associated prices. This information will be collected from the sponsor and the cards will be created by The Millspace.
Sponsors should not place actual gift cards on their trees but are encouraged to use copies as placeholders. The original items will be held by the Millspace and stored for safety until the tree is picked up.

-Decorate a tree provided by Archambault Christmas tree farm already set up and ready to go at the Millspace.
The Merry & Bright Sponsor $75
-You must provide your own tree (real or fake). If real, please reach out to see about possible tree stand options.
The Wreath of Wonder Sponsor $50
-Provide and decorate a wreath
The Cocoa & Cheer Sponsor $30
- Provide a hot cocoa stand for the event. The sponsor supplies cocoa, cups, napkins, and other needed supplies. Cocoa will be offered for a $2 donation per serving, with all proceeds supporting the fundraiser. A server or team of servers would be greatly appreciated. If you need help arranging volunteers, please let us know!
Want to help the cause but don’t have time to decorate? We have Spirit of Giving Donation option as well.
