Mother, artist and (as her daughter says) friendly neighborhood bog witch.
Tia moved to Newmarket in 2011, started working in Newmarket in 2018 and in 2020 started volunteering in Newmarket. Tia became the co-chair in that first meeting and never looked back.
In 2023 she was voted Newmarket Business Association's volunteer of the year. From acting as a spirit from long ago with the Newmarket Historical Society, to a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Town of Newmarket. Newmarket, and volunteering are some of her favorite things.
Her artwork centers around the macabre, the lost and forgotten. Photography, painting and taxidermy are her mediums of choice. She is found most mornings at Crackskulls with her partner reading or writing, walking around town talking to the dogs or meandering through the cemetery.
